Here at HWLincs we’ve been celebrating the hard work and support we receive from a fantastic bunch of people who volunteer their time, expertise and an amazing commitment to our charity: our trustees.
We are so grateful for everything they do to help us at a strategic level as we go from strength to strength and form our plans for each year ahead.
Our trustees hail from different professional backgrounds and bring specific skills to the table individually and truly empower us as an organisation collectively. It’s very special to us.
In fact, we couldn’t function without them. They bring ideas, help problem solve, analyse, research, advise and get creative. We rely on different areas of expertise to shape us at so many strategic levels. We also have a lot of fun and it’s always great to get around the table, whether in person or virtually, and share our thoughts on how we can help HWLincs progress and enjoy new friendships.
We are now on the lookout for more trustees to join the board, from professionals who have retired or are due to retire and are looking for a way to give back, through to those who are employed but wish to allocate some time to a charitable organisation and add to their own professional development. The common ground is wanting to help a charity to continue to provide key insight and engagement services to community by lending some time and individual. Whatever your industry sector, you will have skills that can really help us.
You may have seen some of our recruitment videos on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter where some of our trustees share their experiences. Check them out as it gives you a first-hand account of what it’s all about. Keep an eye out for more to come over the coming weeks and scroll down to watch the first three.
