HWLincs retains Healthwatch Lincolnshire contract
We’re delighted to announce that HWLincs has been chosen to continue to run the Healthwatch Lincolnshire service.
The charity has delivered Healthwatch Lincolnshire for the past 10 years and following an open tender process has been selected to continue to deliver it until 2030.
Following the recommission by Lincolnshire County Council, an HWLincs spokesman said: “We are thrilled to announce that HWLincs has been awarded the contract to continue delivering Healthwatch Lincolnshire services for the next five and a half years. This affirms our commitment to ensuring that the public’s voices are heard in shaping local health and social care services.”
Healthwatch Lincolnshire’s purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf.
“Our Healthwatch Lincolnshire work allows us to engage with communities across the county, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to share their experiences and influence decisions about their care,” the spokesman said. “We will continue to provide independent support and signposting as well as empowering individuals to get the services they need and deserve.”

Healthwatch Lincolnshire collects feedback on health and social care and provides information and advice in these areas. “We are here to listen to what you like about services and what you think could be improved. No matter how big or small, we want to hear about it,” a spokesperson said.

Healthwatch Lincolnshire hosts regular events in which the public is invited to attend to both learn about the work of Healthwatch Lincolnshire and its partners and provide feedback that will help to shape its future priorities.
The next event, YourVoice@Healthwatch, takes place on Wednesday, October 23rd, 10am-1pm at Jakeman’s Community Stadium, Boston.
The event will have a services marketplace with charities and services in attendance and we will present the Healthwatch Lincolnshire annual report and more.
