HWLincs has been working to understand how accessible buildings, outdoor spaces and beaches are across East Lindsey.
Engagement highlighted recurring barriers, including poor pavement conditions, a lack of accessible toilets and unclear signage, with many people experiencing multiple access issues at once.
The project began with discussions at the YourVoice@Healthwatch event and was followed by a district-wide survey completed by 801 people who live, work in or visit East Lindsey. These findings have shaped the final phase of the project, with further public consultation exploring accessibility in more depth.
